The investment and innovation Group RAISE announces the appointment of Julien Denormandie

Paris, October 27, 2022 – Julien Denormandie, former Minister of Agriculture and Food (2020 – 2022) is appointed Senior Advisor of RAISE.

Julien Denormandie is an agricultural engineer, a graduate of the Ecole des Eaux et Forêts and holds an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs. He began his career at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris and at the French Embassy in Egypt.

In 2012, he was appointed to the Cabinet of the Minister of Finance, Pierre Moscovici, and the Minister of Foreign Trade, Nicole Bricq. Then, in 2014, he became Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the Minister of Economy, Emmanuel Macron.

Julien Denormandie then joined the Government: first, under the Government of Edouard Philippe, where he held the position of Secretary of State for Territorial Cohesion, then Minister Delegate for Cities and Housing; then under the Government of Jean Castex where he became Minister of Agriculture and Food.

In September 2022, following this political commitment, Julien Denormandie joined the cleentech company Sweep, a leader in carbon management for businesses, as Chief Impact Officer.

Julien Denormandie is appointed Senior Advisor of RAISE and will bring his experience and expertise.
